Het Tussenstation Lisse

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Het Tussenstation, and I must say it was an incredible experience! This restaurant is housed in a historical building that used to be a train station, which adds a unique and charming atmosphere to the lunch experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast and lunch options were both fantastic, with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. The quality of the food was exceptional, and it was evident that the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. One of the great things about Het Tussenstation is its location. It's conveniently situated near Keukenhof, making it an excellent spot for a meal before or after a visit to the world-famous tulip gardens. And if you're looking for a place to bring your family, Het Tussenstation is perfect! There's a playground on-site, and the restaurant is family-friendly, with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Het Tussenstation for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of great food, excellent service, historical charm, and family-friendliness make it a true gem in the area. Five stars all around!

Good environment and lovely place but horrible customer service. Wouldn't visit again. When assigned a seat the waiters got into a fit about this specific person not being allowed to assign seats. My grandmother has a hard time standing so the extra 15 minutes this took was horrible. I am a vegetarian and asked if a simple toasti could be done without the ham which was absolutely not possible even thought the current visitor total was a whopping number of 20 (persons, not groups). I had to order a snack dish of cheese rolls (which was not made for lunch) because all the other vegetarian dishes contained goats cheese which I have a hatred against. This was not the restaurant it's problem. It was the service which was bad, the menu had eggs on there and a different dish has cheese and bread. I don't get the problem that a simple bread with an egg and cheese is hard with only 20 customers and 4 waitresses...

Nightmare service. We ordered Cola, waited for 20 min in front of the cashier, asked for our drink several times, and in the end they said we have to wait even more. We gave up and got away without our drink. Waisted time and money, no drink, spoiled mood. Also, they asked to pay by cash with no check. For such a wonderful area it's a pity place.
